Refund Policy:
At the School of Barbers, we are committed to providing high-quality, hands-on vocational training in line with industry standards. Our courses require a significant commitment of time, resources, and personalised instruction. Please read the following policy carefully before enrolling.
1. Cooling-Off Period
A full refund is available within 48 hours of initial enrolment and payment, provided that no course materials have been accessed and no classes have been attended. To request a refund within this period, you must notify us in writing at admin@schoolofbarbers.com.au.
2. Non-Refundable Policy After Cooling-Off Period
After the 48-hour cooling-off period, all fees become strictly non-refundable, including deposits and full course payments. This applies regardless of:
• A change of mind
• Personal or professional schedule conflicts
• Illness or injury (unless outlined in Section 5)
• Failure to attend scheduled classes
• Misunderstanding of course structure or requirements
3. Course Withdrawal
If a student voluntarily withdraws from the course after the cooling-off period, no refund will be issued for any portion of the course fees paid. Students are encouraged to speak with their educator about support options if they are struggling to meet course expectations.
4. Missed Classes
Missed classes due to personal reasons, illness, or other obligations do not qualify for a refund or credit. While we will do our best to assist with catch-up opportunities where possible, these are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
5. Compassionate Grounds (Discretionary)
In rare and exceptional cases (e.g. serious medical issues or extreme hardship), a partial refund or credit toward a future course may be considered. Any such request must be made in writing and supported by appropriate evidence (e.g. medical certificate). Approval is at the sole discretion of the School of Barbers and is not guaranteed.
6. Course Cancellation by School of Barbers
If the School of Barbers cancels a course or specific session, students will be offered one of the following:
• A transfer to the next available course intake
• A full refund for the cancelled portion only
